Privacy Policy
The XR / Metaverse Industry Expo Executive Committee handles the collection, use, and management of personal information appropriately as described below, and implements the following measures to ensure its security.

Compliance with personal-information protection laws
In handling personal information related to the operation of TOKYO DIGICONX, we comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003) and strive to protect personal information in accordance with the following policy.

Information we collect
This refers to information that can identify a specific individual — such as name (with phonetic reading), address, telephone number, email address, recorded images, and security-camera footage — that the Executive Committee receives from expo visitors, exhibiting organizations, and others through the operation of the expo.

Responsibilities of the Executive Committee
As a rule, when collecting personal information, we clearly state the purpose of collection, make clear that collection is carried out only to the extent necessary to achieve that purpose, and obtain the information voluntarily from the individual.
Furthermore, we will not use personal information within the Executive Committee beyond the purpose of collection, nor provide it to anyone outside the Committee, except in the case of announcements regarding the holding of future expos and announcements or inquiries concerning measures and related content from the organizations that make up the Executive Committee. -

Restrictions on providing personal information to third parties
The Executive Committee uses personal information within the scope of the purpose of use, manages it by appropriate means, and will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties unless it notifies the individual of the recipient and the purpose of use and obtains their consent.
The following cases, however, are exceptions:
(1) When all or part of the handling of personal information is entrusted to a third party within the scope necessary for operating the expo, and the information is provided to that third party.
(2) When the information is provided to a third party in other situations where disclosure or provision to third parties is permitted by law. -

Secure management of personal information
The Executive Committee appoints a manager responsible for handling personal information, and works to manage it appropriately in order to protect it. We also take appropriate measures to protect and maintain the personal information we receive against leakage, theft, loss, destruction, and the like.

Other matters concerning the handling of personal information
If an individual requests the disclosure or suspension of use of their own personal information, or if, as a result of disclosure, information is found to be incorrect and its correction or deletion is requested, we will respond without delay. We ensure that all members of the Executive Committee, the secretariat, and related organizations thoroughly observe this policy, and we work to raise security awareness.

Retention period of personal information
The Executive Committee sets a retention period for customers' personal information within the scope necessary for the purpose of use, and will erase customers' personal information without delay after the retention period has elapsed or the purpose of use has been achieved. However, where applicable laws or regulations stipulate a shorter period, that period shall apply, and specific personal information and the like shall be handled in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
